Studio Jardine translates to Studio Garden and is derived from my name Reneé Charisse Jardine. I started the Studio Jardine Blog to network with anyone interested in my work enough to give me feedback, ask questions, give suggestions or just keep up on what I am creating or where I am selling next. Thanks for the visit.

My youngest son, Klavey
It is dumping rain outside! Suppose to be a beautiful weekend. Today I am making food, food, food for the weekend. And, doing my best to add some more jewelry to my Etsy store. We are going to have a fun three day weekend. Saturday my youngest son, Klavey is turning 18. Next week he is graduating high school with a 4.35 GPA. He is in honors english, chemistry, and his second year of calculus. The white sheep of the family!

It's more like Mayrch!
Well, it has been sunny but, burrr. The wind is coming from the north and it feels that way. I even built a fire to take off the chill. Not usual but, not completely unusual for May here in the Sierra's at 2800 elevation.
Today I took the time to make a banner for my Farmer's Market Booth. I used Vistaprint. I will be getting it in a week so I'll let you know how it turns out.

Brrr chili
It needs to be 90 degrees or above before I go rafting with my husband, Keith. He'll go when it is snowing. I did however get a good amount of things done. My art room is switched completely over from painting to jewelry making mode and I have a few new items in my Etsy store.

Thanks DAD!!!!
My dad is my flea market and yard sale guru! I have gotten most of my materials and just about all of my upcycled materials to make into new jewelry pieces from him. Here is a wod of vintage chain pieces he brought to me yesterday! Gotta love that man!

Etsy's Main Treasury & Treasury East
http://www.etsy.com/treasury/4bf0b4774d168eefc508fae9/naturalistic-approach
The main treasury on Etsy's website is a group of items I chose to feature together from different sellers. The main treasury has limited viewing time and a limited amount of featured pages. Since it only lasts a few days I posted the link to Etsy's Treasury East with the same items.

Does anyone know what kind of stone this is? I found it on the beach in Northern California.
Coral and lava or such perhaps?

Earring Loop Template
I use this template to form my own earring loops. Take two pieces of 24 gauge wire and form both over the template using a wig-gig. Then pound away! I have yet to try making a bookmark. Go for it!
