Studio Jardine translates to Studio Garden and is derived from my name
Reneé Charisse Jardine. I started the Studio Jardine Blog to network with anyone interested in my work enough to give me feedback, ask questions, give suggestions or just keep up on what I am creating or where I am selling next. Thanks for the visit.
The species in this set includes from top to bottom, Lace Fern, Mountain Lady's Slipper, Pacific Dogwood and Western Peony all natives to where I live. The prints are from original acrylic painting of mine. I have always loved it when the Dogwoods Bloom. There are many getting ready to just up the road from me. Another of my favorites is the Lady's Slipper Orchid. It is the only one of these that has eluded me and I have not seen it in real life. I have a friend that knows the spot. Apparently they like to grow under Douglas Fir trees and there is a family of them near the Yosemite Grove of Big Trees. Someday....one of those must do's on my list.
