Snowy Weekend

A great snowy weekend for staying inside, watching football and making cuff bracelets out of upcycled factory samples of leather.  Maybe not the best weather for outdoor photography....brrrrr.

What a messy gal!

Hey People.... it's been a lot of fun but, this is just getting ridiculous! I've been busting out the jewelry with out doing any straightening, putting away, or organizing things back where they go. Can you tell? Tomorrow's agenda: cook a turkey (no I cannot wait until Thanksgiving) and REALLY clean up my art room!

Aquamarine Earrings - potential customer request

I don't do commission per-say so, when a customer wants something specific that I would like to do I will give them first rights of refusal.  This takes the pressure off of me (and the potential buyer) and I am never disappointed if they decide they do not want to purchase.  It's all good.

Dainty Aquamarine Earrings

New Creations for this week.....

Bullet With Butterfly Wings - Handmade Wire Wrapped Necklace
Dark Star - Handmade Necklace.  The star portion is up-cycled from a vintage clip on earring.

My Necklaces are named from song titles.  Can you name the bands?

What the New G4 iphone can do for you, even if you don't buy one!

Studio Jardine I will share a marketing idea with you. While waiting for my husband for lunch in 104 degree heat I decided to pop into an air conditioned apple store. While there I messed with every G4 iphone I could, brought up in safari the front page of my Etsy store and left it there. So anyone who picked up the phone next and opened safari got to see my stuff first. One way to leave a calling card!

My new thrift store find!

It may look like a bit of a tight spot but, it works great for me.  Especially now that I have been able to switch out a folding plastic table for a vintage wooden desk....and now I have drawers!  There is even a nice, stable pull out for when I need more table space.  I really scored on this after looking for months.  Thanks to our local Humane Society Thrift Store in Sonora, California.

An earring tutorial

The link to this tutorial will take you to an Etsy Shop - BobbiThisAndThat..... I searched for a long time for some nice floral beads to use in items like this one and I ended up getting all of my floral shaped beads from her store.  She is really great to work with.

So happy with my booth banner from vistaprint!

I am really happy how my sign turned out!  Here are photo's of my sign work up and the actual sign that I got moments ago!!
I created the banner in Photoshop and easily uploaded to vistaprint.  The actual sign matches closer in color and saturation than what my photo shows.
